Why should you attend?

The course provides a detailed overview of the main changes introduced in the revised edition of ISO 9001, more than a decade after ISO 9001:2015. The revision reflects developments in the business environment, including changing customer expectations, technological advances, global risks, sustainability considerations, and evolving organisational needs. While the standard retains its established process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) framework, several requirements have been clarified, reorganised, or expanded.

The course covers key changes, including a stronger focus on quality culture and ethical behaviour, a clearer distinction between risks and opportunities, and expanded requirements for planning QMS changes. It also updates requirements for organisational context, interested parties, organisational knowledge, customer communication, design and development, performance evaluation, management review, and continual improvement. Together, these revisions support a more effective and responsive approach to quality management, customer satisfaction, and organisational performance.

After completing the training course, participants will be eligible to take the exam. Successful candidates may apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 9001:2026 Transition” credential. This internationally recognised certificate demonstrates the knowledge and professional capabilities required to transition and update a QMS in accordance with the revised ISO 9001:2026 requirements.
